Staff and Trustees

Pavilion Pirates Pre-school is a registered charity run as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation by a group of trustees. We are a non-profit making charity which means that all funds generated from the many fundraising activities we do are invested back into your child’s pre-school.

We rely heavily on fundraising events to help us raise vital funds for all the everyday items that we need.  Parents are encouraged to join our fundraising group to help with any events that we hold over the year.

The preschool has a constitution, which is a set of rules we follow. We are members of the Early Years  Alliance who provide guidance.

The names of all the trustees are listed with the Charity Commission and details can be found on their website.  All trustees have to undergo a police check and provide all the necessary details to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate.

"You have all had a crazy year but through it all, you did what you had to do to stay open yet still managed to keep the preschool a happy, non-stressful place for all the children.  You all deserve a medal and I think you are all simply amazing.  Thank you for providing my children with the best start and some great memories.  We will miss you all."

Parent review from July 2021

"My daughter has learned so many skills and been nurtured by each and everyone of the staff.  I will definitely returning with my younger daughter soon"

Parent review from July 2019

"A wonderful preschool in the community with lovely, committed staff.  My little one loved going and was always full of chat at the end of each session, bursting to tell me about his day.  Keep up the good work."

Parent review from August 2018

"We could not have wished for a better preschool for our children and would recommend it to everyone.  The staff are all so kind and genuinely seem to love their job and the children.  The play opportunities are so fun yet the children are all so calm and well-behaved.  Pirates, you're fantastic, we can't thank you enough and we will miss you."
